Yesterday, April Fools day, I spoke to students of the 4th and 5th grade class at the Bolles school in Ponte Vedra Florida. It was a yucky, windy, rainy, day...but kids were wonderful! They listened intensely while I spoke about my book, Angel in a Fur Coat. I was pleasantly surprised of how many of them had dogs and how many of them knew the history behind the breed of their dog. The kids filled the room with bright faces eager to learn about writing and publishing. Their joy of reading and love for dogs made a rainy day perfect.
