Earth Day 2010


I will be signing my book, Angel in a Fur Coat,

The 21st annual
EARTH DAY CELEBRATION
APRIL 17th and 18th from 10 AM to 4 PM


WASHINGTON OAKS GARDENS STATE PARK

This two day event will include
live entertainment, living History re-enactors; Environmental Groups;
Boat tours of the Intracoastal Waterway,
Arts and Craft vendors, bake sale, a plant and herb sale,
and a Chance Drawing for great prizes, including an IPod.
There will be something for all ages, including an entire kid’s section
devoted to environmental activities, and much, much more.

Special Park Admission fees for EARTH DAY
will be $10 per car for up to 8 people per car.
Part of the ticket will include an entry into a drawing for a Door Prize
provided by the Friends celebrating the 75th Anniversary of the Florida Park System.

Art Walk Downtown Jacksonville

Art walk was awesome tonight! Tons of people all over downtwn Jax
and on every corner was a live band, guitars, drums, sax, trumpets...
the streets of downtown Jax was filled with music and art.
Stop by the Jax vistor center for all types of information
from entertainment to sightseeing and much more.
The Jax vistors center is located across the street and a few doors down from the library.

Produced by Downtown Vision, Inc., First Wednesday Art Walk is a free, self-guided tour of Downtown Jacksonville's galleries and museums, as well as cultural venues, restaurants and businesses.

Held each month from 5-9 p.m. - rain or shine - the Art Walk spans a 15-block radius within the Downtown core and is the ultimate opportunity to savor Jacksonville's deep pool of creative talent.

Street parking is FREE after 6 p.m. and the Downtown Garage on the corner of Adams and Clay offers FREE parking Art Walk night.

This months theme is Art Goes Green.
